Badam kheer recipe


  1. 1/2 cup Almond
  2. 3 cups Milk
  3. 4 tblsp Sugar
  4. 5 -6 Cardamom finely chopped
  5. 5-6 threads of Saffron , soaked in lukewarm milk
  • Boil the milk in a thick bottomed pan.
  • when the milk begins to boil add the almond paste and the sugar and cook over a low flame
  • stirring continuously.
  • When the milk becomes thick, like a kheer remove from the flame and add the dissolved saffron and the crushed cardamoms.
  • Allow to cool and serve chilled.
