narial Podi Recipe

Ingredients :
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut narial scraped
  • 1 cup red chillies whole
  • 2 tblsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 cup black gram split
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 7 tblsp oil

To Prepare Narial Podi Recipe :

  1. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil . Fry the coconut to a reddish brown color and cool.
  2. Heat the remaining oil . And then fry the dal, chillies and mustard seeds separately
  3. Remove and cool the mixture.
  4. Mix all the ingredients and grind to a powder.
  5. Store in a dry airtight bottle.
